My name is Amy Anderson and  I am the owner of Preschool Delivers.  Over the years I have had the opportunity to work at a number of childcare centers in a variety of positions.  Every center that I worked at, and every position that I have held, helped me to learn and grow in the Early Childhood field.

I began as a classroom aide working with infants and toddlers.  During this time, I began going to school for my Associate in Arts Degree so that I could better myself as an educator.  I soon moved into the position of an assistant teacher, and eventually a lead teacher. After experiencing the joy of seeing children develop as a teacher, I came to appreciate the importance of  Early Childhood Education. The children were eager to learn through play, and I knew that they loved learning as long as I taught them in a positive environment.  I was determined to make educating young children my career goal. In pursuit of my goal, I took the role of an assistant director.  Within three months, I moved to a center director position. I have been in the leadership role for over twelve years.

In 2012, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development at Concordia University, St. Paul.  This experience gave me the confidence to pursue my own business in providing quality preschool education to children in family childcare.
